Mental Health Counselor/Therapist
(PhD, PsyD, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW)

The flexibility of a private practice with the backing of a clinic. Applegate Counseling serves the Lane County area, and we are seeking a counselor to join our team who is board-licensed or registered as an intern/associate in OREGON for PhD, PsyD, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW certifications. We serve a diverse population with varied needs, so all specialties are welcome.

Provided for you is comfortable/well-lit office space with furniture, administrative/billing services, marketing, credentialing support, technology tools/EHR, and referrals specific to your individual practice guidelines – – allowing you to focus on the work you are passionate about and to reduce your administrative workload. A large therapy room is also set aside for children, specifically designed for a more kinesthetic environment and play therapy, and there is ADA access to the office and restrooms.

Create a practice that meets your life goals. Full-time positions require a minimum of billable hours a week, but you can set your professional goals and build the kind of practice that fits your individual lifestyle, making your schedule and compensation as flexible as you want them to be. In-person and telehealth appointments are supported, but we are not looking for telehealth-only therapists. Preference is given to therapists who treat children under the age of 12.

We provide compensation packages based generously on productivity, with a minimum guaranteed salary, so you have a starting salary from the beginning and long-term control over your earning potential. This can help you transition into a new clinic and provide some measure of predictable income for you. We are contracted with PacificSource Community Solutions, OHP, Trillium, and Medicare, as well as most major commercial insurers in our area, and credentialing/validation support is provided to help you maximize the insurance you can accept for your clients.

Health, Dental, Life & Disability insurance premiums are covered for full-time staff, plus Simple IRA retirement contributions for full and part-time staff.
